Hot Dog and a Blowout

Radio Guide advertisement

While on a drive to see the circus, Fibber and Molly get a flat tire.

GAS STATION ATTENDANT: Fill ’er up?
FIBBER: Well, no. How far is it to Argusville?
GAS STATION ATTENDANT: Eighty-three miles.
MOLLY: And how far from there to Milltown?
GAS STATION ATTENDANT: Oh, I’d say about 110. That makes, let’s see, 83 and 110, about 200 all together.
FIBBER: That’s just about what I figured. Give me two gallons.
FIBBER: The radio operator says to me, he says, “Pilot,” he says...
MOLLY: Pilot?
FIBBER: “Assistant pilot,” he says...
MOLLY: Assistant pilot?
FIBBER: “Stowaway,” he says...
